Being Saved. The Gospel of Christ

Being Saved, a genuine believer in Christ.

Peter’s confession. Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, The Son of the living God.
 Matt. 16: 16.
The reply of Jesus of Nazareth, standing before Peter.  Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed this unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
The confession  of devils. Thou art Christ the Son of God.         Luke 4: 41
The confession of Peter with the disciples We believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. John 6: 69
The confession of Martha Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world. John 11: 27
The confession of the Ethiopian I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. Acts 8: 38

The outcome of true confession
whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. 1 John 4: 15,13,14.

An earnest plea to my unconverted brethren.
How did you discover Jesus to be the Son of God? Mum and dad told you when you were a toddler? It was not so with Peter. It was a revelation granted by the Father of Jesus Christ.
Yet you boast as so many in assembly fellowship do that you have always believed this.
Our toddlers know what the devils knew. It is not enough to give some kind of mental assent. After all, your parents might have been Hindus or whatever  You might have with the same filial affection believed in Lord Krishna.
Owning Jesus Christ to be the Son of God requires an act of faith in accordance with your known grasp of prophetic Scripture and through the revelation of the Spirit of God.  It will result in repentance and conversion.
You may be one of our chief Brethren preachers. You may be morally perfect. You may be a loveable soul. You will perish in your sins without a Biblical confession.

Heaven is my home. If it is to be yours you need to be born again.
If you are not born again you will perish in your sins. You will descend into the everlasting flames of hell.
Who told you there is no hell? Some lying cleric? A perverted school teacher? An adulterous parent? Your own darkened mind?
God tells us there is a heaven to gain and a hell to avoid. The Bible makes it plain. Read John Ch. 3

The presence of a Man on earth Who demonstrated deity is proof of the integrity of the Bible. His name is the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

God has only one book. It is the Holy Bible. He doesn't need two books.v He got it right the first time. It has been available in common English for more than 400 years.
Change your mind about your sin before it finally destroys you. Repent of your thieving, your lying, your adulteries, your filthiness, and all your sin, and turn to Christ.

But are you not yet weary of your sin? It has broken your home, maybe. It has destroyed your health, possibly. It has troubled your mind. But you will not give it up? You will keep to your adulteries, your addictions, your lying and your thieving. Well, there is worse to come. The eternal flames of hell await you.
Be sure there is a hell. Christ, the Son of God, tells us so. You must read His book for yourself If you read with an earnest open mind you will be brought to the truth. The truth will set you free. There is a pardon and healing for the repentant soul.
